ROOMS AND HOSTEL PODS

- Are sleeping areas hostel separated?

The sleeping areas in the hostel are not separated. It is one room split by toilets and a shower room. The room has a choice of double pods and single pods.

- Is there air conditioning in the rooms and at the hostel?

Air conditioning is available in every hotel room. The PODS have climate control. Here the temperature is kept constant at 17 degrees.

- Are there hair dryers at the hostel and in the hotel rooms?

There is a hair dryer in every hotel room. At the hostels there is a possibility to borrow one. You can request this at the Front Office. Failure to return the hair dryer will result in a fine of €25.00.

- Can I cook for myself?

There is no cooking facility. We have the restaurant 'At Table' where you can join other hostel and hotel guests at a table for a reasonable price. And you can order food a la carte.

- Is there soap/shampoo in the hotel rooms and hostel showers?

Shower gel and shampoo are provided in all hotel rooms. At the shower stalls of the PODS is shampoo and shower gel for general use.

- Is there bedding or do you have to bring it?

Bedding is provided in both the hotel rooms at Stadsklooster Dordt and the hostel pods.

- Can I run a wash?

Running a wash is not possible.

- Can I iron or is there an opportunity to iron?

Exceptionally, there is a possibility of ironing.

PARKING

- What about parking?

Parking at Stadsklooster Dordt is only possible for disabled persons and loading and unloading. There is also the possibility to park further down the street in parking garage Drievriendenhof.
The first 24 hours you can park for free in the Weeskinderendijk parking lot. To park for free you must register your license plate number. You can do this at the parking meter or via a parking app. If you park for more than 24 hours, you pay €0.30 per hour.
The entrance to the parking lot is at Weeskinderendijk 21.
You can walk to the center in 22 minutes. Also by bus, shared bike or shared scooter you are in the center within a few minutes. On Saturdays, a free shuttle bus runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. It runs from the parking lot to bus stop Centrum and back. 

- Is there a charging station for my car?

There is no possibility to charge your car with us. There is parking for disabled guests only.

BICYCLE PARKING

- Is there secure and covered bicycle parking?

Our bicycle parking is located in a sheltered spot in the courtyard garden. The parking area is not covered.

- Are bicycles allowed inside?

It is not possible to park bicycles inside.

- Can I charge my e-bike?

We do not have a charger for e-bikes.

Check-in times are:

Early check-in possible for a fee. You can book this option through our site. Or contact our reception about this.

STATION

- How far is it from the train station?

The walking distance from the station is 12 minutes

ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA

- What is there to do in the area?

We employ a Dordtologist who will take you on a city tour of Dordrecht by appointment.

We have several museums in the center of Dordrecht.

You can take a super cool trip from the center of Dordrecht on an e-Chopper to the Biesbosch. This route starts from VVV Dordrecht.

At DRIJF Dordt you have the opportunity to rent SUP'S. This way you can get to know the surroundings in a relaxed way and find your peace in nature.

From the center, take the whisper boat and let it take you around all the sights Dordt has to offer.

Rent a pedal boat in downtown Dordt and make a day out of it.

The water bus is a perfect opportunity to explore the surroundings of Dordrecht from the water. You have the option of taking your bicycle with you. Stops include Rotterdam and Kinderdijk.

Climb Dordrecht's church tower for a great view from above.

For a rainy day, you can opt for the movie theater.

At the station you have the possibility to rent bikes to explore the city on your own.From here also go the various buses and trains that will take you beyond our beautiful city.

Take advantage of the City Canal Cruise. You can book this one through DRIJF.

At our opposite neighbors at Rutte Distillery, you can book a fun educational tour. This is of course from 18+.
