Book a stay in a Pod or a cozy, charming hotel room and spend time in our chapel to enjoy your special time with God. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to join us for a meal at the Aan Tafel restaurant. You’ll sit down with others and enjoy whatever’s on the menu.
YOUR PERSONAL RETREAT
We do everything we can to ensure that you can follow your retreat independently while you’re with us. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a handy booklet that can help you structure your retreat. There’s always someone around to chat with, but otherwise, it’s up to you to spend your time as you wish. In the chapel, we alternate moments of silence with meditative music. It’s the ideal place to retreat with your notebook, the Bible, or a good book. Every Friday evening and on the first Wednesday morning of the month, there are so-called chapel sessions with live worship music.
The Dordt City Monastery is located in the center of Dordrecht. A meditative city walk is part of the “Onderweg” retreat program and can be done independently with the help of a map.

Are you looking for a venue for your retreat? Our retreat center,
, will amaze your guests. Stadsklooster Dordt offers a unique experience in a historic city—from sleeping in a Pod or a cozy, charming hotel room to dining in our restaurant, Aan Tafel.
With our catering services, we take the work off your hands as a retreat organizer, so you can focus entirely on your participants.
You can use our rooms (if needed). Our chapel can accommodate up to 25 people and is available free of charge. For larger groups, our rooms are available for booking. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided entirely by us in our restaurant. Your guests will stay in pods (42 single-occupancy pods and 8 double-occupancy pods) or in a hotel room (8 double rooms and 1 quad room).
We’d be happy to discuss your preferences so that, together, we can make this a successful retreat.
Stadsklooster Dordt is located in the center of Dordrecht. It’s easy to take a stroll through the city. Or would you rather seek out the tranquility of the Dordtse Biesbosch? That’s an option, too, of course.

Would you like to organize a multi-day retreat, for example from Friday to Sunday? Then overnight accommodation for your guests is essential. At Stadsklooster Dordt, there are two options for staying overnight, depending on the needs of your group.
