
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (Conditions) form the basis upon which Stadsklooster Dordt will provide accommodation and other products and services at its hotels to Customers (as defined below) and Guests (as defined below). By making a Booking (as defined below) the Customer agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1. INTERPRETATION
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions shall have the following meanings:
- "Arrival Date" means the date on which the guests' stay at the hotel will begin, according to the Booking Details
- "Booking" means the Customer's reservation of accommodation and all other products and services listed in the Booking accepted by Bunk.
- "Booking Details" means the details of the Booking, including the number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the length of the Guests' stay at the Hotel and any other products and/or services to be included in the Booking.
- "Charges" means the charges payable by the customer in connection with the Booking.
- "Contract" means the contract between the Customer and Bunk. relating to the Booking.
- "Customer" means person making the Booking.
- "Monastery" means City Monastery Dordt Foundation.
- "Guests" means the customer and any third parties they invite to the hotel in connection with the booking.
- "Monastery" means the hotel owned or operated by Stadsklooster Dordt whose location is specified in the Booking.
2. BOOKINGS
Please note that all online bookings made through stadskloosterdordt.nl and affiliated websites may be subject to different terms and conditions depending on the accommodation or rate type selected. Please read carefully the accommodation rate details provided before making your booking. You are advised to check the rate details thoroughly before making your online reservation. This agreement applies to telephone and online bookings. When requesting bookings, customers must provide identifying information including, but not limited to, their name, address, phone number and email address.
No booking request shall be deemed accepted unless and until Bunk confirms acceptance and provides a booking reference, at which time the contract is formed. Any request to change dates or length of stay or add products and/or services is subject to availability and the client shall pay for such extended length of stay and/or products and/or services from time to time at Stadsklooster Dordt's standard rates.
3. COSTS AND PAYMENT
The charges are as quoted by Stadsklooster Dordt to the client upon their request for a booking. Unless otherwise agreed by Stadsklooster Dordt, the charges only cover the provision of accommodation and breakfast at the hotel and the customer may be charged additional fees including, but not limited to, charges for meals, drinks, art, use of the store, late check-out (the " Additional Charges"). Customers will be informed of the amount of the additional charges before they are incurred.
Reservations are subject to the following conditions of the customer: payment of the full cost in advance or payment of reservation fee and/or deposit; and provision of valid debit or credit card details that allow payment of the cost or balance of the cost (as the case may be) and any additional charges to be collected upon check-in at the hotel or at the time of booking. If not paid in full in advance at the time of booking, the balance of the charges must be paid by the customer immediately upon check-in at the hotel. All additional charges must be paid as soon as they are incurred or, at Stadsklooster Dordt's option, at the customer's check-out from the hotel.

RATES
We have 2 types of rates; flexible and non-refundable. For the flexible rates, it is OK to cancel your reservation, but you must let us know no later than 12 noon one day before you booked, unless we specify otherwise when you book. If you cancel your reservation after 12:00 noon one day prior to arrival, we will charge you for 1 night's stay plus taxes. Peak periods may have additional cancellation restrictions, but we will inform you when you book with us. With a non-refundable rate, you cannot change or cancel your stay and will therefore be charged 100% of the cost.
PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS
Valid credit card information is requested at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. A non-refundable rate will be charged in full at the time of booking.
4. CANCELLATIONS
- The Customer may cancel the Booking free of charge if they notify Stadsklooster Dordt at least 24 hours before 14:00 (local time) on the Arrival Date. In this case, Stadsklooster Dordt will refund to the Customer all amounts prepaid by the Customer.
- If the Customer has been offered a discounted rate on the condition that the Booking becomes non-refundable upon cancellation, then, provided the Customer has been notified of this Condition, in the event of cancellation of the Booking all Charges applicable to that Booking shall remain payable in full.
- If the client does not give adequate notice of cancellation as stated above or does not arrive (no show) at the hotel, the entire booking will be deemed cancelled and the client must pay the hotel an amount equal to the charges applicable to the initial booking. overnight stay at the Hotel.
- Stadsklooster Dordt may cancel a Booking at any time if the Hotel is not available due to circumstances beyond Stadsklooster Dordt's control, in which case Stadsklooster Dordt will provide the Customer with a full refund of all Charges and all Booking Fees paid.
- Stadsklooster Dordt may cancel the Booking at any time if the payment details provided by the Customer are invalid and the Customer does not provide alternative valid details.

- Please note: Changes in date or number of nights may result in different rates and are subject to availability. A booking of 6+ rooms/beds is considered a group booking. For group rates and bookings, contact Stadsklooster Dordt directly at info@stadskloosterdordt.nl. Please note: Different conditions and rates apply to group bookings.
5. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in time at the booked hotel is from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Arriving early? No problem. With us you can safely store your luggage. Check-in before 15.00 hours is possible provided that this has been agreed in advance with Stadsklooster Dordt and that the full range of services and facilities of the hotel is only available at the standard check-in time.
The regular check-out time at the booked hotel is 11:00 am. Later check-out times are possible by prior arrangement at an additional charge and subject to availability. In the absence of such prior arrangement, failure to check out by 11:00 am may result in the customer being charged an additional night's stay at the applicable standard rate. All additional charges must be paid upon check-out. Should you wish to stay longer, you can always inquire about availability with the hosts.
6. Rules City Monastery Dordt
- Valid photo ID in the form of a driver's license or passport is required at check-in.
- Customers are required to behave and ensure that their guests conduct themselves in the hotel in a reasonable and responsible manner and may not behave in a manner that may disturb other guests. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the guest being asked to leave the hotel, in which case all charges and additional fees will be paid immediately by the guest.
- These are smoke-free hotels according to Dutch law. You can smoke a cigarette outside. Please note that smoking weed is also prohibited outside public areas. If you smoke in your Klooster pod or monastery room, we are forced to charge a cleaning fee of at least €250.
- Because Stadsklooster Dordt will be your second home, you will probably take personal belongings into the public areas. We will do our best to keep an eye on them. The client is responsible for loss or damage caused in the hotel by guests or visitors of the guest. The Guest may be held liable for Stadsklooster Dordt's reasonable costs to repair, clean or replace any Stadsklooster Dordt property damaged, soiled or lost by a Guest.
- In all monastery pods there is a safe to store personal belongings. Stadsklooster Dordt cannot be held responsible for any theft from the locker. For larger belongings, you can rent one of our larger lockers - again, Stadsklooster Dordt cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged goods.
- Guests under the age of 16 cannot stay in shared hostel accommodations (Monastery Pods), but they can stay in private Monastery Rooms if they are accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 and use the beds provided. Children under 6 years of age receive a 50% discount on breakfast. Breakfast for children under 4 is free.
- The maximum length of stay in the shared hostel (Monastery Pods) is 12 consecutive nights. Exceptions can only be made in consultation with the manager.
- No animals are allowed in Stadsklooster Dordt with the exception of guide dogs.
- Stadsklooster Dordt does not accept bookings made by persons under the age of 16. Children under the age of 16 cannot stay in the Klooster Pods, but they can stay in the Klooster Rooms when accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Failure to comply with this rule will result in automatic cancellation without refund
7. LIABILITY
- Stadsklooster Dordt cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the client's use of the Kloosterkamers or Klooster Pods and public areas, including but not limited to damages and losses due to fire, theft or criminal conduct.
- Stadsklooster Dordt cannot be held liable for death, injury to any person, loss of or damage to property of any person staying/visiting at Stadsklooster Dordt.
- Stadsklooster Dordt is not liable for damages caused by third parties
- The person booking the reservation is responsible for any direct or indirect damage to the Monastery Rooms or Monastery Pods and public areas and loss of any contents thereof.
- We expect everyone staying at Stadsklooster Dordt to take all reasonable care of Stadsklooster Dordt property. Please report any damage, missing or improperly cleanliness of your Monastery Room or Monastery Pod, as we want to remedy this as soon as possible so that you feel right at home. In addition, this prevents you from being held liable for any damage or loss during or after your stay.
- In the event that you leave your Kloosterkamer or Klooster Pod or any other part of the Stadsklooster Dordt property with damage, missing items or heavy soiling, the charges provided at check-in or booking may be charged to your credit card.
- Customer agrees that Stadsklooster Dordt provides its facilities, products and services to Customer for private use only and shall not be liable to Customer for loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
