The Position

As the Food and Beverage Manager, you are responsible for the entire Food & Beverage department at Stadsklooster Dordt. You lead the food and beverage team and maintain a visible presence on the work floor. You ensure that our guests have an excellent experience every day and know how to combine quality, hospitality, and team development.

You are a hands-on manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys rolling up your sleeves and working alongside the team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading the F&B team.
  • Coordinate daily operations in the restaurant, on the patio, and at events.
  • Ensuring quality, hospitality, and service.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing employees and volunteers.
  • Creating staff schedules and ensuring efficient staffing.
  • Monitoring revenue, margins, purchasing, and costs.
  • Actively contribute ideas on how to improve processes and the guest experience.
  • Close collaboration with the kitchen, hotel front desk, and management.

Who are you?

You are an experienced hospitality manager who is confident and knows how to inspire people. You are a Christian and actively engaged in (the development of) your faith. You fully embrace the vision of Stadsklooster Dordt.

In addition:

  • Do you have several years of management experience in the hospitality industry?
  • Are you available for at least 32 hours per week?
  • Do you consider working evenings and weekends a given?
  • Are you a true team player with a positive and coaching-oriented leadership style?
  • Are you good at organizing, planning, and setting priorities?
  • Are you hospitable, enterprising, and able to handle stress?
  • Do you have an eye for detail and for people?
