Stadsklooster Dordt must remain pleasant, liveable and safe for everyone. That is why Stadsklooster Dordt has house rules and rules of conduct for guests.

1. REGISTER

You must report to the doorman or reception at the start of your package.

2. ACCESS CONTROL

To protect your own and other people’s safety, we may oblige you to cooperate in a search or detection.

3. CAMERAS

We watch over your and our property through security cameras in common areas. By entering (the grounds of) Stadsklooster Dordt, you agree that recordings are made by our security cameras. After disturbances or accidents, recordings can be shown to third parties.

4. SMOKING

City Monastery Dordt is completely non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on the outdoor terraces at the indicated locations. It is not permitted to use a supersmoker (or similar replacement for cigarettes) within Stadsklooster Dordt, except in the designated (outdoor) smoking areas. Smoking in a hotel room results in a cleaning fine of €150.00. If the fire alarm is disabled or activated by smoking (in the hotel room), it will be automatically removed. The fire brigade’s call-out costs of €275 will be charged.

5. UNWANTED HARASSMENT, RACISM AND DISCRIMINATION

You may not commit sexual harassment, racism or discrimination.

6. ANOTHER AND HALLUCINATION INVOLVERS

You are not allowed to use soft drugs or hard drugs. You are not even allowed to carry them with you, take them onto the grounds and/or into the buildings. Employees may ask you to cooperate in a search.

7. WEAPONS

You may not carry weapons with you, take them onto the grounds and/or into the buildings.

8. ANNOYING, OFFENSIVE AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR

A sanction will be imposed on anyone who behaves in a disruptive or offensive manner inside or outside the catering establishment. Threats, abuse and other forms of aggression are prohibited.

9. CONSUMPTIONS

You may only use refreshments within the company. You are not allowed to bring in drinks from outside and vice versa. If, in our opinion, you have drunk too much, you may be denied the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Double drinks are not provided. No under 18s. Under 18s = no alcohol.

10. TOILET USE

Toilet rooms are only intended for individual toilet use. Stay for other reasons is not permitted.

11. TRADE IN GOODS

It is prohibited to trade goods in or around Stadsklooster Dordt.

12. HORECA PROPERTIES

You are not allowed to take property from Stadsklooster Dordt outside. Anyone who causes damage is liable for the costs of repair or renewal.

13. LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY

Stadsklooster Dordt is not liable for loss and/or damage to guests’ property, unless they have been deposited for safekeeping for a fee. In the event of loss of items, such as clothing (even if they have been deposited for a fee), Stadsklooster Dordt is not liable. Stadsklooster Dordt is also not liable in the event of injury to persons.

Damage caused to furniture or real estate at Stadsklooster Dordt will be paid for by the destroyer.

14. LOST AND FOUND OBJECTS

If you find an object in Stadsklooster Dordt that apparently belongs to someone else, you must hand it in at reception. Lost property is kept for two months. Anyone who collects a lost item must be able to identify themselves.

15. COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaints of any kind, please report them immediately to the reception in our café.

16. VIOLATION OF HOUSE RULES AND CONDUCT

If you violate the rules of conduct, a sanction may be imposed, such as expulsion or denial from catering establishments.

17. DEPARTURE

We kindly ask you to take our local residents into account when leaving Stadsklooster Dordt and not to cause noise pollution.

18. EMERGENCY OR NUISANCE

In case of emergency, you must call 112 at all times. In case of discomfort, please report this to the café employee between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

19. SAFETY FEATURES

Disabling and/or abusing security features automatically results in removal.

You must check your room for any damage immediately after check-in and report this immediately to reception. After check-in you are responsible for the room and any damage.

22. HOTEL ROOM ENTERED BY DORDT CITY KLOAST STAFF

Stadsklooster Dordt reserves the right to enter a hotel room if Stadsklooster Dordt deems it necessary. For example, in the event of (a suspicion of) a violation of the house rules.
