Restaurant Aan Tafel is a warm and welcoming spot in the heart of Dordrecht, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Take a seat at the distinctive communal table and enjoy surprising dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. But it’s the Kloosterdiner, above all, that makes this a unique restaurant in Dordrecht.
Every Friday and Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m., you’ll join us for this communal dinner. Together with others, you’ll enjoy a delicious meal at a table set just for you. And what’s on the menu remains a surprise. That’s exactly what makes this evening the highlight of the week for us. You don’t know exactly what will be on your plate, but you can be sure you’ll eat well and be in good company.
For 18.55 euros, you can enjoy a main course with a starter or dessert, including table water. Children 12 and under can dine with us for 8.55 euros. Want to be sure of a table? Then make a reservation in advance for Friday or Saturday evening. Even without a reservation, we’ll do our best to find you a table. Do you have any allergies? Please let us know when you make your reservation, and we’ll take that into account.
Monastery Café: Work, Catch Up, and Relax
In addition to the restaurant, Stadsklooster Dordt is also home to the Kloostercafé, a unique spot in downtown Dordrecht. It’s a great place to work, catch up with friends, or just relax. You’ll find several workspaces with power outlets and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Stop by for a direct-trade coffee from 80 Days Coffee, celebrate a special occasion, or enjoy a delicious lunch. Everyone is welcome.
The Kloostercafé is open weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Fridays until 11:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Sundays, you’re welcome from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can stop by every day for breakfast and lunch, and on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner at 6:00 PM. Walk-ins are always welcome, but reservations are appreciated. You can easily make a reservation for breakfast and lunch, and you can take your time to view the current menu online beforehand.
